Jake Bazeley Emerged As The Winner Of World Series Of Poker Circuit, 2018

Jake Bazeley who won his first ever title in 2014 in the main event of World Series of Poker Circuit at the Cherokee of Harrah, by outlasting a field of total 797 entries. After 4 years of achieving this feat, he came back and managed to defend his title in 2018 at a similar venue in the similar main title of the event for the 2nd time. However, this time he outlasted a field of 1,127 entries to emerge victorious in the main event title of WSOP Circuit, 2018 in the Cherokee of Harrah in the $1,700 event. In this event, he earned his second gold ring in WSOPC and also the biggest prize of total amount $311,616.

In an interview after the main event, Jake told the reporters of WSOP after emerging as the winner that “the last win was my first great win,” and “this time I was more comfortable, coming in because I was here one more time before.” With this win, the lifetime earnings of Jake in live tournament increased to $4,385,362. This win was the 5th biggest score of his career.

Jake entered into the final day of the tournament in the 11th chip position along with 15 players remaining. The day started with the bracelet winner of WSOP named Kyle Cartwright as the chip leader. However eventually, after many ups and downs, Jake managed to defeat Kyle who finished the tournament as the runner-up.

Besides claiming the highest prize of $311,616 and second gold ring of his career, Bazeley also got the award of Card Player (960) and Player of the Year as the champ of this main event. After winning this title, he improved his ranking which helped him to move to a 238th spot in the overall ranking.
